The new visual album "Two Sides of the Same Coin" out now

Ben Schuller has been honing his craft as an artist, songwriter, producer, and director for almost a decade. Coming up in the online world of acoustic covers and music videos, his first single Need This Feeling became a cult hit on YouTube, racking up over 100 million views among fan uploads. Ben’s online footprint saw another massive boost when he helped form NerdOut, an Internet-based music trio that has grown to 3 million subscribers and over a billion streams.

While online success continued to grow, in 2020, Ben found himself at a rock bottom moment, spurned on by the realization of how much his self-worth was tied to algorithms and the validation of strangers. This sparked his first music video concept album “New Roaring 20s” which took a deep look at his generation’s (mostly unhealthy) relationship with social media. 2023’s “Two Sides of the Same Coin”, another 10 part visual album continuing the story, took home ‘Best Cinematography in a Short Film” at the Vancouver Int’l Movie Awards, helping cement his place among independent musician/filmmakers.
